Equipment & Water
We invest in professional equipment and process our own purified water on-site. Here is an overview of the main systems we use and why they produce better results.
Pure water and the water-fed pole system
Tap water contains dissolved minerals. Calcium, magnesium, silicates and other compounds, that leave white spots and streaks when water dries on glass. We process our own supply through a multi-stage purification system that removes all dissolved solids, producing pure water with a TDS (total dissolved solids) reading of zero parts per million.
Pure water is fed under pressure through carbon-fibre poles up to 70 feet in length, where it reaches soft brush heads that agitate and loosen dirt from the glass and frames. The pure water then rinses the surface completely. Because there are no minerals present, the water dries absolutely clear, spots or residue.
An additional benefit is safety: the entire process is carried out from ground level, removing the need for ladders on the vast majority of properties.
Pressure washing equipment
We carry both hot-water and cold-water pressure washers. Hot water is significantly more effective at breaking down oil, grease and organic growth. It is the method of choice for driveways and commercial hard-standing areas. Cold water is used where heat could damage the surface or where the contamination responds equally well to cold treatment.
Our pressure washers are fitted with a range of lances and surface cleaners, including a flat-surface cleaner that cleans evenly across large paved areas without the striping that a single lance can cause.
Gutter vacuum system
Our vacuum gutter cleaning system uses a high-powered industrial wet-and-dry vacuum with carbon-fibre poles reaching up to 40 feet. A small camera attached to the pole head lets us inspect the gutter interior as we work, and we can show customers the footage on request. The system clears debris quickly and safely from ground level.
Chemicals and cleaning agents
Where cleaning agents are required, biocide treatments, frame cleaners, graffiti removers, we use products that are biodegradable wherever possible and always appropriate to the surface being treated. We follow manufacturers' dilution and safety guidelines on every job.
