Graffiti & Adhesive Removal

Rapid, effective removal of graffiti, fly-posting adhesive, stickers and other unwanted surface deposits from exterior masonry, brickwork, metalwork, glass and painted surfaces.

Graffiti removal

Speed is important with graffiti: the longer it is left, the deeper it penetrates into the surface. We use a range of professional solvent-based and biodegradable graffiti removers selected to suit the contamination and the substrate. Where necessary we combine chemical treatment with low-pressure washing to achieve a clean result without damaging the surface beneath.

We have successfully removed spray paint, marker pen and paint-roller graffiti from brick, render, stone, UPVC, metalwork and coated surfaces.

Fly-posting and adhesive removal

Old poster adhesive, sticker residue and tape marks are a common problem on lamp posts, street furniture, shopfronts and boundary walls. We use purpose-made adhesive removers that dissolve the residue cleanly, followed by a rinse to leave the surface spotless.

Anti-graffiti coating

After removal we can apply a sacrificial or permanent anti-graffiti coating. A sacrificial coating means that any future graffiti can be removed with water alone, while a permanent coating provides an ongoing barrier without needing reapplication after each removal.

Surface suitability

We assess each job individually before treatment. Some surfaces, aged painted masonry, lime render or delicate stonework, require particular care. We will advise honestly if a surface cannot be treated without risk of damage.
